Testing & grading

Before any Commercial or Residential Van Dyck Carpet range is ready for its new home, it first undergoes extensive laboratory testing. These carpets are then tested again to check for consistency in the extremely severe in-house Torture Tunnel Test, which simulates heavy contract wear.

Not sure if a carpet has the adequate properties for your environment? Simply check its location grade, which will tell you whether the Van Dyck Carpet of your choice is appropriate for the area you wish to carpet.

Heavy Residential:

Hallways, home passages, home lounges, hotel bedrooms, small offices, home offices.

Light Commercial:

Hallways, home passages, home lounges, hotel bedrooms, small offices, home offices.

Medium Commercial:

All rooms in the home, offices, hotel lounges

Heavy Commercial:

All rooms in the home, office foyers, office passages, office entrance halls, lift lobbies, banking halls.
